My munchkin likes to sleep with A LOT of stuffed animals....so I crocheted a hammock for her lil' friends. I could only find online patterns for the corner hammock so I made one up that would rest on a flat wall.
It really helps to keep her room clean and gives her much more room to sleep.
can you share the pattern please. I have no proper corner in my pumpkins room. there are odd angels in the corner. hence wanted something that can lay flat on the wall. Please please please
I have never written a pattern before and truly wouldn't know where to begin but I will try to help and reconstruct it using the method that I did.
It is basically three pieces. A mesh rectangle and two triangles attached to the short ends of the rectangle. For the mesh rectangle I used a stitch I found in this pattern (step 4) I just crocheted a giant mesh rectangle ..... http://www.michaels.com/Lily®-Sugar'N-Cream-Crochet-Market-Bag/e06628,default,pd.html
I edged the rectangle all around with a few rows of double crochet in a contrasting color. This was just to make it look nice
Then I looked up a pattern to make a triangle... http://www.innerchildcrochet.com/resources/how_to_design/triangles_rows.html
I made the triangle with a double crochet. I attached the base of the triangle to the short ends of the mesh rectangle. To hang it, I attached two anchored hooks to the wall and tied the end of the triangle in a knot around the hook. I added a few crochet flowers to hide the hooks.
I hope this helps. I really wasn't particular about counting. I just stopped when I thought it was big enough. It REALLY stretches out once you add the stuffed animals and I was surprised that they didn't tumble out. Happy crocheting.
That is beautiful! Do you have a written pattern for it?
